Bennett Road Public School was established in 1961 to serve a growing area of St Marys. The school is west of Ropes Creek between the Great Western Highway and the M4. Housing consists of older homes, welfare housing, first homes and newer estates. Local residents are strong supporters of the school and come from diverse socio-economic, language and cultural backgrounds. The school has: Adequate general purpose teaching spaces; multipurpose hall and canteen; library with a technology centre; large grounds, gardens and play areas.
