Niland School provides individual educational programs designed to meet the lifelong learning needs of the students. These programs are developed through a collaborative process involving the student, their parents and caregivers, school staff and personnel from relevant support agencies.
The school curriculum is centred around the development of academic, vocational, physical, social and creative skills that will allow the students to achieve an independent, fulfilling lifestyle. Integrated across all curriculum areas is the emphasis that the students are responsible for their own behaviours and accepting of the consequences for their own choices. The students are able to access Life Skills and Board Endorsed courses for the School and Higher School Certificates.
