Para Meadows School aims to provide each student with a variety of challenging learning experiences through structured individual programs within a stimulating and caring educational environment. The school has a fine record of providing successful programs which have enabled students to participate in home, school and community activities. The enrolment at the commencement of 2009 was 99 students, with moderate intellectual disability, severe intellectual disability and multiple disabilities. Students are enrolled in junior primary, upper primary and secondary groupings. The school hosts two satellite classes from ASPECT. Student progress is enhanced by a committed staff and supportive school community working together to ensure that students attain the highest possible level of participation and independence. This is consistent with our mission statement - 'Striving for independence through quality educational programs.'
