Our school shares a common campus with Griffith Public (GPS) and Griffith High (GHS) schools. Community support is high with financial support always forthcoming for maintaining and obtaining up-to-date and specific resources to meet the changing need of students. Over the past ten years the school has expanded its facilities to include a hydrotherapy spa, a multisensory room, gym and kitchen. This year the school has upgraded playground equipment and is working with GPS towards the provision of a school hall. As the school mission states, Kalinda School seeks a quality of life for its students based on their individual needs and their right to participate fully as equals. Through choice and commitment parents and staff supported by the wider community combine to ensure opportunities are provided and challenges met. Growing and achieving will occur naturally as a result of allowing the students the dignity of risk.
