Cameron Park is a K-12 school for students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities, often with associated medical conditions, requiring high levels of support. The enrolment of 28 students come from the surrounding suburbs and the areas to the north and west. Some students travel up to 40 kilometres by special transport. The school has an indoor heated hydrotherapy pool and a bus capable of transporting fourteen students (six in wheelchairs) on planned community activities. At Cameron Park School we aim to provide a happy, supportive and structured environment where the students can develop skills which will assist them move toward independence. The knowledge skills and attitudes will enable them to participate to the maximum extent in everyday activities and enhance their quality of life.
