Chifley College Dunheved Campus is a comprehensive middle school, situated in the Mt. Druitt District. It is one five campuses that make up Chifley College.
The school acknowledges that it is located on Aboriginal land of the Dharug tribe and all students study this language as part of their Stage Four curriculum.
The school currently has an enrolment of approximately 420 students and includes a Support Unit for IM and IO students with an enrolment of 70 students.
Our students come from rich and diverse cultural, linguistic and socio-economic backgrounds. There are 24 different language groups represented including 17% Pacific Islander students. The school has a significant number of students who identify as Aboriginal (22%).
Our parents are participants in the leadership of our school as evidenced by their involvement in P&C, Aboriginal Learning Support Team, College Council, school development days, self evaluation team and professional learning programs. They are also actively supportive in multicultural and reconciliation programs.
The school is blessed with an extraordinarily dedicated staff, prepared to give up many hours of time after school and on weekends to enhance the educational opportunities the school provides. Ten teachers have been promoted from the school in the last two years.
