athens04_rap Introducing Charlestown Public School

Hi everyone!  We are the kids from 4/3J at Charlestown Public School.  We are learning about the Olympic Games and it's great fun.
 
These are some of our favourite Australian competitors:  Ian Thorpe, Grant Hackett, Michael Diamond, Joshua Ross and Justin Norris.  We are all doing projects on a country of the world that is in the Olympic Games.  We have already made some Olympic torches in craft.
 
Charlestown is a big suburb of Newcastle but our school is not very big - only about 206 students.  Charlestown Pool is just around the corner which is great in summer.
 
We can't wait for the Olympics to start.
