Did you know?
1.The mascots of the athen's Olympics are brother and sister dolls called Phevos and Athena. Phevos was the Olypian God of light and music. Athena, Goddess of wisdom and patron for the city of Athens.
2. The Olympic 2004 Torch is designed to resemble an olive leaf. it weghs 700g and is 68cm tall.
3.The Opening ceremony had 8 500 volunteer performers.
4. Australia has more than 400 athletes competing across 28 different sports.
