belonging05_rap Introducing Class 3D Marayong PS

Dear fellow Rappers,

We are class 3D at Marayong Public School, close to Blacktown in Western Sydney. Students travel to school by car, bus, pushbike and their own feet. Our teacher’s name is Mrs Skelton and we are doing this rap with our Teacher Librarian Mrs Scheffers.

We are a big school and lucky enough to have our own special craft teacher. Our class has 30 perfect students’ (well, some of the time) - 16 boys and 14 girls. Our school emblem has an emu because Marayong is an aboriginal word for emu.

Our class has been busy reading Jeannie Baker’s books and our favourites are Window and Where the forest meets the sea.

We have participated in a number of books raps and are looking forward to this one.

Rap again soon

From the 3D Diamond Rappers @ Marayong PS.
