Hello Rappers
In 3Y at Blacktown West we have been busy listing all the changes at school
and in our community.
At school we have new security fences and gates to keep our school safe,
more plants to make our environment more attractive and new office signs to
help people find their way around our school. Our class has changed its name
from 3B to 3Y because we changed teachers earlier in the year. We have
different , healthier food in the canteen. We have some new sports equipment
and we are using extra classrooms because our school has grown. Some trees
have been cut down because they were unsafe. We have new red recycling bins
just for plastic bottles and containers, aluminium cans and glass bottles.
Unfortunately there are dirt patches in our grass area because of the water
restrictions so we are not playing on the grass at the moment.
In the Blacktown community Westpoint has been made much bigger with a new
ramp into the carpark.There is a new library, new shops, new Hoyts theatre
and a new bus tunnel. The M7 which is close to us is nearly finished. There
are new people in the area and lots more house and flats have been built.
Sadly there is some new graffiti on the walls at the train station.
Most of these changes are positive and have been made to suit the people at
school and in the community just like in Belonging.
