Hello Rappers
We enjoyed looking at all the changes in Belonging and comparing them to
changes in our environment.
Here at school we have a new security fence to keep our school and equipment
safe. We have planted new trees to help our environment and to provide shade
for the future. We are also keeping off our grass play areas at the moment
so the grass will grow back. We also make sure that we don't waste water by
keeping all taps and bubblers turned off when not in use. Our toilet blocks
have been painted and our SRC bought soap dispensers for our toiklet blocks
to keep us clean and healthy. We have some new air-conditioners in our
school and some computers have been upgraded to XP.
In our community new people have moved in and houses have been knocked down
to build new houses and some townhouses. The biggest change in Blacktown is
at Westpoint Shopping Centre. The changes have been going on for some time
but now we have a much bigger shopping centre, with many more shops and a
much bigger carpark. This will make room for the extra people moving into
the Blacktown area as well as give us more variety to choose from.
We look forward to hearing about changes in yopur area.
