Hello Everyone
We noticed similar changes in our environment to those in Belonging.
We have planted new gardens and extra trees at Blacktown West to help the
environment, make our environment more attractive and to provide extra shade
in the future. The trees that were here when we first started in Kindergaten
are now much bigger and providing us with shade. We have new students and
teachers at our school this year, our rooms have been painted over the last
few years and our school has grown because more people have moved into the
area.
Near our homes we have noticed old houses being knocked down and new house
and townhouses being built. There is new equipment at the park for kids to
play on and many people have new neighbours. There are new pathways on some
people's way to school and some people have new driveways and other people
have cut down dangerous or messy trees.
In Blacktown central business district we have a larger shopping centre with
many more shops and a larger parking area. There's a new and bigger cinema
and a new Krispy Kreme shop!
Our environment is always changing to mett our needs.
