G'day Rappers
Our school is 53 years old and is still standing.  Since it was first built there have been  many changes.

  • The little 'corner' shop across the road (it's no longer there) was where the children bought their school lunches.
  • Where there is now concrete it used to be bitumen.
  • There was also a creek which ran through the back playground. It would have had yabbies and fish in it. Now the creek is underground through pipes. We found the pipes using a divining rod made from a straigtened out wire coat hanger. That was awesome!
  • Forty years ago big gum trees were planted around the edge of the playground in a long line which is like a corridor for wildlife to hang out in. One day we found a possum in one of the trees where there was a big gap, he was too frightened to come down to the ground and go to the next tree.
  • Our library now sits on top of the office and staff room.
