binnabinnaman04_rap Welcome to newcommers and Rap Point 2

Hi there rappers! What a week for the rap we have had. It is great to read your repsonses to Rap Point 1. A big hello is due for Ambervale High and their scarry teacher Mr Nethercote and to Sooper SAO from Ryde Public.

We look forward to your responses to Rap Point 1, as we all do to one from the Powerpuffboyz at Punchbowl. We think The Dully rappers who haven't introduced themselves yet will have to apologize too, but I know they are trying to get there as well.

The cool school at DSODE has sent us a great response, making very good use of Ms Sheldon's knowledge and Rap Sheet 4. The Jimmyboyz worked hard in their response and it was clearly worth it- particularly in their great response to the question "What does it say to us all?".

Barenjoey made great use of examples form the text in their response, too.

Great work rappers!

And now for your next discussion point:

Rap point 2: Belief in Aboriginal Lore.

What are the advantages for the boy and his people in following their cultural beliefs? What could happen if a person loses contact with their culture? Use characters and incidents from the book to support your view.

As a class or group, share your ideas and feelings with other rappers by posting your class answer to the rap. Your answer should be an extended piece of writing consisting of at least four paragraphs.

Once you have posted your class response you may wish to respond to one or more of the responses from other class groups. You can do this by posting your comments to the rap so all rappers can share your ideas.

Keep up the great work rappers and keep those eyes peeled for Meme and Boori, we know they are nearby, and certainly watching the discussion.

The Big Rapper.
