This is Sherwood Grange public School calling!!
We hope you like these poems that we wrote about the various characters in the great books our groups have read.
Some poems tell you the character but others will make you guess the character and book they are from.

A small boy who loves his grandma
Comes on Fridays with his mum in the car
Eats cake and has fun
And goes for walks in the sun
And the potato people grew very far

There once was a bear and a chook
 
They were both in a really great book
 
The chook was a really great guy
 
It was too bad he couldn't fly
 
You should really really take a big look

stuffed with dead rodents
jumps fences and trees
fast
runs alot

donkeys

grass
