book_week_rap Introduction:William Dean

Our class is LTW from William Dean Public School. The L stands for learning,
the T stands for team and the W stands for Miss West (our teacher). Our
school is in Dean Park near Blacktown. Our teacher librarian is Mrs Phillips
she is helping us with the Book Rap.
We have 32 children in our class and around 400 in the school.
All of the children at our school love to run around and play games such as
soccer, chasings and touch football on our big back paddock.
We have recently planted lots of trees for Federation, World Enviroment Day
and National Tree Day so hopefully soon we will have lots of cool shady
areas around our playground.
William Dean is different to lots of other schools because we are organised
into stages instead of ages. Last year we had a class with children from
years 1-3 in it.
This is our fist time participating in a Book Rap. We're really looking
forward to reading the books and chatting to all of the rappers.
