Hey Rappers!
We're Quakers Hill!
Our school is located in the Blacktown area and our colours are blue and
gold. We have over 600 students and we participate in many excellent
excursions as part of our learning. We have a ritzy canteen, a large playing
field, superb playground and a leafy green environment.Our school is over 80
years old but it still looks good. We have lots of caring, motivated
teachers and our school motto is very true- Success Through Learning!
We have been studying Bali/Indonesia in our class- 5/6 cool, an OC class
which has 60 students and Ms Oakman and Mrs Lindsell are our Gurus! (That's
teachers in Indonesian.) We have a multicultural class and we are very
enthusiastic because it's our first time rapping.
We have a very well resourced library and an excellent librarian, Mrs
McCarron,who will be helping us throughout the book rap.We also have other
facilities such as a computer lab.
Our school participates in a wide range of sports for PSSA: Touch football,
softball, cricket, soccer, netball and T-ball. Our school also participates
in debating, chess, public speaking, Drama, Keyboard and choir. We have an
excellent band which placed 3rd in the Yamaha Band Festival this year and
the school S.R.C. is always making improvements. Our school has a wide range
of studies, heaps of fundraisers and caters for a wide range of abilities.
