Hey Rappers,

Our class has been split up into 6 groups and we had to choose one short listed book to right about. We all had to right something a little like this.

DOUGAL THE GARBAGE DUMP BEAR!

Matt Dray has used real photos and realobjects for his illustrations; he makes you feel like your in the photo. This specific book is made to look like a tatty old scrapbook.

The setting gives the reader a bright and happy feeling.
the objects are placed in the photos to show the size of each object.
The different colours stand out and are very bright.
The reader is drawn to the main characters because the photos zoom in on what is happening in the story.
The photos are made to show the size of each object or character.
The light is very bright and colourful.
The facial features on the characters are happy in some parts of the story and sad in others.
There are speacial features in this notebook like, coffee stains, tissues, sand, band aids to hold up the pictures, and binding going down the middle of the pages.
