bookweek05_rap Rap Point 1 from 5BM Newcastle Grammar School

Dear Rappers,

We are Class 5BM of Newcastle Grammar School. Our introduction never made it through because we tried when the server wasn't working. Sorry about that!

The book we have chosen to focus on is Mutt Dog. We like the dog and we all felt sorry for him at the start of the book. The illustrations made us aware of the homeless people in the city.

The tokens we have chosen are a food bowl with his name on it and a bone to chew on. we also thought we'd put a tin of dog food next to the bowl. We thought this could represent that he is no longer hungry and that because the bowl has his name on it,it shows that he is no longer homeless. He belongs to someone and to somewhere.
