We did this in groups and looked at two books. One group looked at Kisses for Daddy and the other group looked at Emily's Rapunzel hair. Both stories hav families dong everyday things like shopping and having a bath and things like that but the illustrations in Kisses for daddy are very different to tEmily's Rapunzel hair. David Legge has made the bear's fur almost real and soft looking and this helps make the dad seem like a really nice dad. All the characters in Emily's Rapunzel hair don't really look real, but it is still a good story. We thought Emily worried too much about what other people think about her.
