Annie's family from the book Annie's Chair are represented through text and illustrations to be a pretty normal family. Annie's mum and dad are easy going and nice natured. Her brother Jack, is a common behaving older sibling who enjoys annoying his sister every now and then.

In the book, family members and pets are included in a short story which includes morals of sharing and other values. In the end of the book, Annie learns new responsibilities of sharing and considerasion of others.

On an overall view, Annie and her family are considered to be a friendly, and welcoming family who have good values in their household.
