bookweek06_rap Rap Point 2

Dear Rappers,
In groups we came up with these ideas-
2.A
Emily- gathers data- The lady with the long, red hair and being told she is a boy, so she uses the red tights for "Rapunzel" hair.

Annie- persists in not giving up her chair until Benny's comforting lick forces her to think about her thinking and then she shares.

Rex- the children are creating, imagining and innovating in drawing Rex as a T-Rex, not a chameleon, so they have great adventures. The drawing of Rex in a barbie outfit shows they are finding humour.

What the sky knows- the character has the habit of responding with wonderment having tea with the angels and sailing to the ends of the earth, so she has great adventures and experiences in her quest.

2.B- If Lucy Brown stopped persisting with the idea girls have long hair and changed her habit to think flexibly Emily wouldn't have had to grow 'Rapunzel' hair.
If the children weren't creating, imagining and innovating Rex as T-Rex and persisted in thinking Rex was a chameleon the story would be boring, because Rex would've just been drawn by each child in his tank.

Bye now from the Rapperoos,
GlenhavenPS
