Dear Rappers,
At first we thought ‘Rex’ was going to be a baby book but as we read the book we thought it was more interesting.

When the children take Rex home they draw or write about it. We notice they have ‘upsized’ or expanded Rex. They imagined that he looks like a T rex or even a mythical dragon.

The children show creative thinking in their drawings. They’ve drawn on past experience when they draw Rex and objects like the buildings. We also think the book’s title is based on a tyrannosaurus Rex.
