We looked at the book, 'Kisses for Daddy.' We liked Daddy Bear's thinking and how he reacted when Baby Bear wouldn't give him a kiss. If Daddy Bear would have gotten angry then Baby Bear would have been scared and it would all have ended in tears. Instead Daddy Bear played a game while getting Baby Bear to bed. The story had a happy ending.

We looked at the thinking in 'Annie's Chair.' We looked at thow Annie was very persistent about getting the dog off her chair. She yelled, shook the chair, tried to pick up the dog, tried to bribe the dog and then she finally cried. At the
end Annie's thinking changed and she decided to share her chair.

Dear Rappers,
We enjoyed the humour in, 'Daddy's having a horse.' We liked the way Sam the handyman winked at Lachlan's Mum and then suggested a few horses' names. We liked the way Grandma was knitting things for the horse. We thought the book wouldn't have been as humorous if the parents would have been annoyed at Lachlan for saying that his Dad was having a horse.
