bookwk04_rap Book wrap introduction

Dear rappers,

We are green literacy group from Campbelltown East Public School or CEPS. We
are a mixture of Year 4, 5 and 6 students. Campbelltown East is pretty big
it has almost 370 students that means 12 classes. We have lots of spare
classrooms which are used as music, art and assembly rooms. Our school
opened in 1961 and this year we have our first female Principal. Our school
is surrounded by bush at the back we have a big oval. Smith's creek is near
our school and we often see lots of birds, especially Cockatoos. At our
school we have lunch first and then fruitbreak, some people think we are
weird. We have 4 sport houses at our school, they are Goannas, Kangaroos,
Emus and Wombats. We like to think we are good at sport, for PSSA we play
Netball, Soccer, Hockey, Touch Football, T-ball, Softball and Cricket. We
have 1 person who is the national champion for the swimming individual relay
and another who represents the state in soccer and guess what she is a girl!
Our school uniform on Monday to Thursday is white and blue and on Friday we
wear yellow sports shirts. We are lucky enough to be near an NRL team. Go
Tigers!

Look forward to reading your emails.

Have fun

Green Group
