Dear Rappers
The page we chose is the one from Two Summers where the illustration shows the calf being pulled from the heifer. We think this would be like a "Doorway" to lots of children especially those who live in citiies. We live in the country and most of us have not seen an animal being born let alone a calf in this way. Before we saw this picture we had no idea that sometimes a calf has to be helped this way.
We like the way the colours change from green to brown as the country goes further into drought.
The illustrator, Frey Blackwood, went to school here in Orange.
