This is our answer to Rap Point 2.
Our class decided to do two pictures from Two Summers .
The first picture is of the eagle and her nest. The eagle is the centre of attention on the page because it covers most of the page. The camera angle is very close because you can see the eagle’s nest. It makes the boys position look dangerous. The reader could feel scared of the eagle as well. This picture has a country texture because the colours are green and brown.
The other picture is the double page where they are mustering the cows. The left hand side shows happiness and the right hand side shows sadness. On the happy side the cows are healthy and alive and the sad side shows the cows barely living and they are all skinny. The camera angle is wide and it shows the change over time because of the drought. The lighting is sad and dull and this make the drought seem more real.
