Hi fellow rappers,
This is our response to Rap Point 1. We researched the Commonwealth Games using
the internet and the Daily Telegraph Newspapers.We found the internet site www.commonwealthgames.org.au/2002.htm very useful.
We worked in pairs to complete our reseach and then as a whole class we voted on the 4 most interesting facts.They are :
1.More than $420 million will be spent on the games (the largest budget of any games)
2.There are 2 new sports-table tennis and triathlon.
3.These are the 17th Commonwealth Games.
4. Over 5200 athletes, coaches, officials, medicos & other support staff will attend.
