Dear Rappers,
We enjoyed researching information about Australian athletes at the Commonwealth Games this week. We discovered some interesting information about the athletes.
Our answers to Rap Point 2 are :
1. Some famous Australian athletes that 4B admire are Loudy Tourky (diver), Cathy Freeman (athletics), Bronwyn Eagles (hammer throw), Philippe Rizzo (gymnastics), Ian Thorpe (swimmer) and Jim Piper (swimming).
2.We think athletes enjoy playing sport because it helps them keep fit,it's fun,they get the chance to represent their country and be the best in the world,sometimes they can break world records,athletes can meet many people and make friends, they can win medals and become famous.
3. 4B thinks the following are benefits of playing sport-
-You can be known in your country
-You can meet new people
-You could represent your country
-You can experience people cheering for you
-Improve your ability in chosen sport
-Win medals
