Hey, fellow rappers! Here’s some
eggsamples of humour from the story, ‘Don’t
Let the Pigeon Drive
the Bus’. This book shows visual humour by using a very
articulate pigeon in human-like posses; like when he is sitting on the floor
indignantly folding his arms. Another eggsample is when the pigeon is running
around screaming because the minder won’t let him drive the bus. There
are 5 words on a double page, “LET ME DRIVE THE BUS!!!”. There are
also 5 pictures representing each word and the way in which the pigeon
delivered them. The page gives the overall impression of one angry and
frustrated little pigeon. Très amusant!
