Bad Eggs is a humorous text because the words have two meanings. (Eliza) It is very witty how they use everyday items and turn them into characters in real life situations (James). The story plays on the names of the characters. For example the detective's name was hard boiled. (Lizzy). What happens to the characters is related to what happens to that food or thing in real life eg: the orange got peeled, the chocolate melted, doll only likes shiny Easter eggs (Angus)
The facial features represent their relationships with other characters in the story. (Ollie) The location of the characters is funny For Example Bunny Bun hung out with the leftovers and the bad eggs went into the cooler in ice block H. (Keanu). It's great that they found out so many things you can do to eggs and incorportated it into the story. (Kate and Aoife).
