fairytales05_rap Rap Point 1

Hey all

Our class enjoyed the fairytale, 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', better than all of the other fairytales that Herb jumped into because Goldilock's personality was subverted from being friendly - to bossy and mean.

Another reason we enjoyed this fairytale was because we thought it was creative when Herb fell down the words.

Our final reason for enjoying this fairytale was because we thought it was very humurous when Herb and Ezzie put a lock on the three bears door and a wig on Goldilocks's hair. (Written by Gabe)

We thought that Goldilocks and the Three Bears were different in their personalities. Goldilocks has become bossy , mean, ugly and very rude instead of being quiet and confused. The three bears have also changed from being angry to nice and inviting.   (by Sarah)

The page is interesting with all the different textures. You can see different fabrics that are used which creates a 3D effect. The writing is also interesting as there are all different characters. Your eyes are drawn all over the page and the characters facial expressions become obvious. The page layout is creative and different to most books. The colourful patterns combined with the texture makes it life-like. (By Angela xxx)

The characters act the opposite to what they usually do in their fairytales. Lauren Child made this phenomenal book by looking on the other side of fairytale life . She thought by doing this , fairytales would be more funny and interesting for children to read. The characters actions are totally different, therefore Child wrote the character's opposite personality for kids to experience the fairytales trough a different angle. (By Kyra )
