Dear whoever
Hi, our names are Sean and Nick from Parramatta High. We are in year 8 in class 8ENG1. We are currently doing rap point one. In the book “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Book?” the fairytale we enjoyed in which Herb jumped into was “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”. We liked this part the most because Goldilocks was trying to be the center of attention. It was funny when she shouted at the three bears for giving “the little show-off in pyjamas” breakfast.
There are several alterations in this story like: the three bears are nice and Goldilocks is really mean, there is a telephone in each room and there isn’t any “just right” breakfast.
A few of the visual effects in this fairytale is how the words are positioned, sized and how the font changes. An example of this is when Goldilocks shrieks at Herb while he is bed. The positioning of these words have a meaning because the font gets bigger and bolder as she keeps talking. Also it is on a slant as she is talking to Herb. Another interesting characteristic of the visual effects is of how the font changes to fit with the background, for instance while Herb is in bed, on the bed the font changes so that it looks like part of the patchwork quilt.
