fairytales05_rap_Rap point 2

Good day Rappers,

Rap Point 2 - Our review of the opening scenes of Shrek are as follows:

1. Expectations
You start watching the movie and you see that there’s a book. Not just a
book, but a fairy tale book. It gives us (the viewer) the idea it’s going
to be a regular, romantic fairy tale with a cut blonde and strong man to
always save the day! But as we see more and more of the movie, we see that
a hero or Prince Charming can be any one of us. All we need is a little
bit of courage. This time it’s our stinky friend Shrek.

2. The Representation of Shrek
When Shrek comes out and bangs that door you know you’re up for one
hilarious fairy tale which is original and animated.

Shrek’s facial expressions show that he is an in-your-face ogre who likes
his typical mud, insects, gross grotty teeth, and his five star stinky
breath. Yuck!

Each camera shot gives us the idea of the lifestyle of Shrek, who is an
ugly fiend.

3. Humour
The unexpected part about this fairy tale is it has tons and tons of (you
guessed it) humour! Shrek’s behaviour is appalling yet as an audience we
find it hilarious.

Our expectations in the opening stages of the movie is that Shrek is the
villain. You may not have guessed it but he terrorises the villagers. No
wonder they’re at war. His table manners and his appalling lifestyle are
sure to cause an extra bounty of laughs.

Our rating of this movie is a full 10 out of 10 and it’s the best movie
we’ve seen.

So from Patrician Brothers and Luke we bid you Rappers a by bye! Till next
time, see ya!
