They changed the original fairy tale because prince charming is a handsome,
rich prince in the original fairy tale, and in this film Shrek is a green,
ugly ogre.
The directors of shrek make the characters use a lot of facial expressions
to make them and the movie more interesting. They use a lot of colour to
make younger children enjoy the movie.
The camera men film in spots that make it stand out. They also use lighting
to make the shot look more attractive.
