flytrap06_rap Rap point 2 and questions for Meme from the Coordinator

Dear Rappers

We have seen some great responses to Rap point 1 reflecting your hard work so far.

It is not too late to send any further responses to Rap point 1. Try to do this in the next day or so.

It is also time to start Rap point 2, so here it is:

Rap point 2: How is traditional Aboriginal life and modern Australia represented in Flytrap through the stories told by its characters? Discuss how Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal readers might react to these stories in different ways.

Your answer should be an extended piece of writing consisting of at least four paragraphs. Remember to post responses to the rap to flytrap06_rap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au

During this week you will also have the opportunity to post questions to one of the authors, Meme McDonald. You can do this after posting your response to Rap point 2. When posting your questions for Meme, insert ‘Questions for Meme from XX School’ in the subject line. As there are only a few schools participating in this rap, classes are welcome to post up to three sets of three to five questions. Try not to post questions other class groups have already sent.

Happy rapping everyone!

Colleen Foley

Rap Coordinator
