Dear fellow Flytrap Rappers,

We have been discussing Rap Point 2 as a class. It was very hard to discuss. We have a lot of points down on our pieces of paper. It tells us about Aboriginal life. Rap Point 2 was hard because we could not think of how to answer the questions. An example of modern Australia is that “One two three step Dad Gee” means Nancy’s step dad. An example of traditional Aboriginal life in Flytrap is the Dreamtime story of the Yams. We have also been discussing how aboriginal and non aboriginals will respond to the book. Aboriginal people would be proud that their culture is being written about the Dreamtime stories. And non aboriginal people their listing to the message and not being greedy.

We have enjoyed reading F.T. We hope we rap with you again soon. From Keanu, Chris and Daniel (5M, CCPS).
