We think that rap.2 is quite hard but this is what we think.
There are many different examples of Traditional Aboriginal life like the
two Dreamtime stories with the Yams and the Echidna. There are also Traditional Aboriginal artworks. Also the making of the necklace. Getting information from elders like ringing grandma about the quills.
We have talked about Modern Australia as a class but this is what we think. There are many stories too. Pliers are used for the Aboriginal necklace and the Aboriginal language. Mum used to live on a farm but now lives in the city. She is also always busy on the computer. Nancy has a step-dad and their relaishonship is interesting,
e.g.1-2-3 step-dad Gee.
Aboriginal people’s response can be that they’re proud that their culture is being written about. They could also be happy or familiar with the Dreamtime stories. They also might be glad that their information is being passed down to Nancy and her class. They could also be surprised that it is in the book and happy that other people are reading their stories.
The Non Aboriginal response could be that they’re listening to the message and not being greedy. They could also be interested to find out about Aboriginal culture and Dreamtime stories. They also might find the echidna quills information a bit gross.
Looking forward to rapping with you again and reading all your responses from Simran, Katy and Kelly at C.C.P.S 5M Marvellous Monkey rappers.
