Dear Fellow Rappers

We have looked at rap point 2 and think it’s harder than rap point 1. We are going to show you what we think some examples in Flytrap show us about Aboriginal and Non Aboriginal life.

The story contains lots of traditional Aboriginal life. We think Flytrap shows us a lot of traditional Aboriginal life. Some examples are the dreamtime story of the two yams and making the necklace out of the echidna’s quills.

We also think Flytrap shows us a lot of modern Australian life. Some examples are Gee and Nancy calling Grandma. This is an example because when Grandma was young she probably didn’t have a phone.

Aboriginal people would feel proud of Flytrap because the book is showing the readers about their culture.

Non Aboriginal people will be happy to learn about Aboriginal culture.

Hear from you soon fellow Rappers. From Emosi, Radheya and Nathan
