Hello again. We think that rap point
2 is interesting because there are so many examples of traditional aboriginal life & modern Australia!
We think that Traditional Aboriginal life is represented in ~FLYTRAP~ because there are:
~Dreamtime stories like the 2 yams story and the echidna story.
~Also because of the way Nancy & Gee made the necklace and how Nancy & Gee were getting information from their Elders E.G Ringing grandma about quills. In the story there was a secret that only men/Boys can know (That was in the 2 Yam’s Story)
We also think that Modern Australian life is represented in FLYTRAP because:
~ Grandma is called on the phone and when she was little she properly didn’t have a phone!!!
For Aboriginal people we think that they would react to the story because they are familiar with the dreamtime stories and would be proud that their Culture is being written about.
For Non-Aboriginal people we think that they would react to the story because they are interested to find out about aboriginal culture and the Dreamtime.
