flytrap06_rap Rap point 3

Dear Rappers

Feel free to finalise Rap point 2 messages in the next couple of days, and also to send your questions for Meme through. Remember to insert ‘Questions for Meme’ in the subject line and try not to repeat questions that have already been posted by other rappers.

It is also time to start work on Rap point 3. Don’t worry if you can’t send your Rap point 3 answers till later this week or early next week. Anyway, here’s rap point 3:

Rap point 3: What is a tall tale? While this book has fun telling tall tales, there are deeper messages and themes. What are they? Explain how you came up with your answers.

As a class or group, post your conclusions to the rap in the form of an extended piece of writing or a short essay.

This rap point gives us a chance to share some of the fun of stories, as well as their purposes and deeper messages. Remember to send your responses to flytrap06_rap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au

Happy rapping!

Colleen
