Hello fellow rappers,
Our class has been discussing the modern Australian and traditional parts the modern Australian and traditional parts of Flytrap. The traditional part of the story includes the Dreamtime stories and the making of the necklace. The modern part includes the pliers used to make the Traditional Aboriginal necklace. The Aboriginal language is English, when mum was busy on the computer, when Nancy and Gee phone phoned Grandma about the quills and when Nancy calls Gee 1, 2, 3 step dad Gee.
We have also discussed how the Aboriginal people would react to the story how non-Aboriginal people would react. We thought that the Aboriginal readers would be happy because their culture is being passed down to the younger generations. We also thought that the non-Aboriginal readers would react positively to the story because it was interesting.
