As a class we discussed what we have learnt about Flytrap book rap. We learnt that it is fun to try new things like emailing schools and learning about other schools in NSW or Australia. There were lots of things that we learnt such as: deeper meanings, consequences of a tall
tale, aboriginal drawings and aboriginal culture like dreamtime stories. The aboriginal traditional life is also different to modern Australian life. We also learnt about the authors. I as partners, we enjoyed many thing about the book rap. We enjoyed rapping with other schools and reading their emails and their responses. We enjoyed reading dreamtime stories. We enjoyed meeting Colleen Foley who’s in charge of the whole NSW libraries. We enjoyed finding out interesting facts about the Authors.
We learned about aboriginal stories and their culture. Also the group work that we enjoyed and we were successful for a long time.
