getactive05_rap Rap Point 1

Dear Rappers,

This is our response to Rap Point 1.

Statement:

We think that getting active means building a habit for healthy living

by exercising. This will also help us to get rid of flab, to live longer, to

stay healthy and also it is fun. If you exercise it can keep you from

getting stressed and it keeps you fit.

Examples:

A few examples of ways to become physically active are running a cross country, learning to swim, riding bikes or doing them all together in a triathlon. Core strength work is also a great way to increase your strength in your stomach, arms, legs and also a great way to increase your flexibility.

These are examples of how to keep fit.

        * rock climbing

        * athletics, including high jump and 800 metres running

        *active playground games like football, soccer, handball and basketball.

We are running our School cross country on Friday, 13th May, and have been practising together as a class. We will let you know if our class members are among the winners or placegetters.

We are looking forward to hearing your responses.

Yours sincerely,

5/6C
