getactive05_rap Rap point 3- St. Elizabeth's

Hello fellow rappers,

After a lot of discussion we decided on the following safety messages.

Messages for pedestrians:
Kindergarten students
1. Don't try to run on a busy road.
2. Always cross the road with an adult.

Year 2 students
1. Always cross a road using traffic lights or a crossing.
2. Stay on the footpath.

Year 6 students
1. Never cross a busy road.
2. Stop! Look! Listen! before crossing the road.

Messages for cyclists:
Kindergarten students
1. Always wear a helmet.
2. Stay off the road.

Year 2 students
1. Always wear safety gear.
2. Keep an eye on traffic.

Year 6 students
1. Watch where you are riding at all times.
2. If riding on a road try to use a bike lane.

In Victoria adults are only allowed to ride on the footpath if they are accompanying a child under 12 like in New South Wales.

Enjoy you week.
