We are 5R from CaddiesCreekPublic School in Glenwood, New South Wales. This is the very first time
that we have participated in an event rap. We are all very excited.
In our class we have 27 children (15 boys and 12 girls) who come from 13 different countries. Our teacher’s name is Mr Roberts.
Our school motto is Care, Challenge, Persist and Succeed. We believe that to succeed that we must follow our school’s motto. We believe that all athletes that are competing at the Commonwealth Games have achieved our motto and are all champions in their own right.
At Caddies Creek we are very fortunate to participate in many sporting activities. We participate in weekly PSSA, where our teams do very well. Our community supports our teams greatly. We are fortunate to have lots of famous sporting identities within our school and community. We are lucky to have Stewart Petrie (Central Coast Mariners – A League Soccer), Aaron Cannings (Parramatta Eels - NRL) and Grant Balfour (Cincinnati Reds - American Baseball) as famous sporting identities. We have had visits this year from the Collingwood Magpies and the Parramatta Eels.
Our school focuses on providing an all round education. Learning educational and life skills provide us with challenges everyday.
5R is excited to participate in the Commonwealth Games Rap.
