Dear Rappers
The illustrations are strange because one page is plain black and white for imagining and the other page is very colourful to show what is really happening.
The illustrations tell us that there is more information than the text does. On the page where granpa can't go out to play we can see why in the illustrations. It is good that John Burningham is both the author and the illustrator so that we get the story from both the pictures and the writing.
We are happy to be rapping with interstate schools from Queensland and South Australia.
