granpa05_rap Rap point three

Dear Rappers,

We have enjoyed hearing from you all during this week.  What a lot of good ideas you all had for the conversation between Granpa and the little girl.  Did you enjoy thinking about all the possible conversations?  The Vampires from St Bedes had lots of good ideas and we liked Unit D from Springfield Gardens who thought that the granddaughter might not want to play anymore.  We agreed with 2J that the little girl wasn’t using her manners and we all know that saying unkind things to others hurts their feelings.  St Peters said that the little girl really did love her grandfather and we are sure that she did too.

The Grandparents Day at Glenhaven sounded like fun.  Did the visiting grandparents leave you the drawings of games they played when they were young?  Is any other school having a grandparent’s day?

This week we are thinking about grandparents.  How are grandparents represented in stories and whether that is anything like your grandparents? We will look forward to hearing from you all during the week and reading your descriptions.
