granpa05_rap Rap Point 3 from Year 2 at St Clare's

Hello Fellow Rappers,
Happy Easter to you all. We have really enjoyed reading the emails with poems and news about grandparents visiting your classes.
In groups, we looked at lots of picture books that had illustrations of grandfathers in them. We then wrote a list of features focusing on the face of the grandfather. We found lots of things that were the same when we looked at all the lists.
In 'The Very Best of Friends', James had long, spiky black hair, a big nose and he lived on a farm. The grandad in 'Tails from Grandad's Attic' was funny with red cheeks, goofy teeth, little glasses, bald with some white hair around his ears, a very thin, grey moustache and red circles under his eyes. Wow! You should see grandpa in 'Keeping up with Grandma." He also had red cheeks and lots of white, whispy hair on his head, under his nose and on his chin.
We also talked about all the names that we call our grandfathers.
From
Year 2 White at St Clare's, Narellan Vale.
