hans05_rap Welcome to the rap (Coordinator message)

Dear Rappers,

Our Hans Christian Andersen Book Rap begins this week.

We are celebrating the 200th anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen & his fairytales, along with the whole world.

This will be a great opportunity to revisit Denmark’s famous storyteller Hans Christian Andersen & his fairytales that we have all grown to love & enjoy.

There are two rap Coordinators for this rap and we are looking forward to meeting all of the H.C.A. rappers.

Ms Johnston is the Teacher Librarian at Cambridge Park Public School &

Mrs Blancato is the Teacher Librarian at Hassall Grove Public School.

We have classes which will join the rap & tell you more about ourselves & our schools.

Rap Etiquette

To introduce yourselves this week, ( beginning Monday 16th May ) construct a group introduction and send it, and all messages, to this email address.

hans05_rap@list.schools.nsw.edu.au

You may like to give your group a name from one of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales.

Please type “Introducing…………..” with your school name in the subject line.

Have your Rap Maps ready and record where other rappers live, as they introduce themselves.

During the course of the rap, If you mention any student names do not include family names.

Please remember to sign off with your class rap name & school name.

If possible, try to check your emails every day, during the rap.

Teachers, we will provide support & discussion for you with the separate teacher rap emails.

We look forward to exploring the life and fairytales of Hans Christian Andersen with you over the next few weeks.

Happy Rapping,

Ms Johnston & Mrs Blancato
